Sometimes, when viewing or editing issues in the Excel-like Bulk Issue Editor for Jira app, certain fields appear as non-editable. This typically means that the field has not yet been added to the issue edit screen in Jira.
With this new feature, admins can now add the field instantly without having to manually navigate through Jira’s project settings.
How It Works

Locate the Non-Editable Field

Double-click on the Field

When you double-click a non-editable field, a dialog will appear with the following message:

Click on the Add button.
