Restrictions

Table Data Storage and Behavior

  • Table data is stored as a page attachment in Confluence.

  • If the attachment is deleted, the table will appear empty.

  • The maximum table size is limited by Confluence's maximum attachment size.

    • Default limit: 100 MB

  • Table data is currently stored without compression. Compression may be introduced in a future release.

  • When a macro is copied and pasted, the new macro references the same table data as the original.

    • To create an independent copy, insert a new macro and import the table data.

  • In the Page History view, the macro is displayed as an empty table.

  • Export to PDF: Only the portion of the table that can be displayed by the macro is included in the exported PDF.
