History field
In Jira, every update to a ticket is recorded in a single History tab. While this provides a complete audit trail, the nested and consolidated structure can make it challenging to locate or trace specific changes quickly.
To address this, the Excel for Jira (EIE) app now introduces a History field, providing users with a streamlined way to access and work with historical data directly in their spreadsheets.

The History field helps users consolidate historical information in a single view, making it easier to focus on the changes that matter most.
How it works:
Update the spreadsheet’s Column configuration
Add the History field from the list of supported App fields.
Double-click on the History field for the corresponding Jira issue/work item
Select the corresponding field or information that you would like to track/focus on from the Jira issue’s history.

Assignee
