We're excited to announce that Space Sync for Confluence now supports dual licensing for eligible Cloud customers.
If you've purchased Space Sync for Confluence Cloud, you can also use Space Sync for Confluence Data Center at no additional cost during your migration period.
Why Dual Licensing?
Migrating from Confluence Data Center to Confluence Cloud doesn't always happen overnight. Many organizations adopt a phased migration approach, where both environments remain active while teams validate their Cloud site before the final cutover.
With dual licensing, you can:
-
Use Space Sync for Confluence Data Center without purchasing a separate Data Center license.
-
Synchronize content between Data Center and Cloud throughout your migration.
-
Continue using scheduled or automatic two-way synchronization until you're ready for the final cutover.
-
Reduce migration downtime and support a smoother transition to Confluence Cloud.
Who Is Eligible?
Space Sync for Confluence participates in Atlassian's Dual Licensing program.
Eligibility and the duration of the complimentary Data Center license follow Atlassian's standard Dual Licensing requirements. Customers who qualify under Atlassian's program are also eligible for dual licensing with Space Sync for Confluence.
How to Request a Dual License
Requesting a dual license follows the standard Atlassian process.
-
Purchase an eligible annual Space Sync for Confluence Cloud subscription.
-
Request Dual Licensing through your Atlassian sales representative or Atlassian Solution Partner as part of your Cloud migration.
If you purchased directly through Atlassian and need assistance, feel free to contact the Ricksoft support team and we'll be happy to guide you through the process.
