Exporting to Excel

Using Excel export

You can use the Excel export function if you need to print and hand out a WBS created in WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira.

To export your WBS to Excel, select Data Excel export on the operations bar.

Note that Excel in WBS Gantt-Chart has the following restrictions:

  • If there are more than nine hierarchies, an error occurs when opening the file, and it cannot be collapsed.

Using Excel export (legacy)

Excel export (legacy) is not supported. In future versions, this feature will be removed.

You can use the legacy Excel export function by selecting Data ⇒ Excel export (legacy) on the operations bar.

Excel export (legacy) was provided as an official function up until Version 9.3.x, but has now been replaced with a new Excel export function due to the following problems.

  • Files could not be opened correctly in MacOS.

  • Files could not be opened in Windows in certain languages.

  • Some content displayed in WBS and Gantt charts could not be reproduced.
