Create a Read Only Table

Creating a read-only table allows you to share data securely without the risk of it being modified. Follow these steps to create a read-only table using the permalink of an existing table.

  1. Copy the permalink of your Excel-like table that you want to duplicate. This link uniquely identifies the table and allows it to be referenced.

  2. Navigate to your Confluence page and create an Excel-Like Read-Only Macro.

  3. A dialog box will appear prompting you to input the Excel-like table link. Make sure to input the correct permalink you copied earlier.

  4. Once you input the link, the tool will generate a read-only version of the table. This version can be shared with others without allowing any modifications.

And there you have it—your read-only table is ready for secure sharing!
